Education and Training are central to the CERES vision. At CERES we have a community food system centred around our organic farm. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn about sustainable food production and to connect with the soil. There are opportunities for involvement in every aspect of production, from propagation and working on the farm, to buying or trading produce at the market or Urban Orchard.

CERES offers a diverse range of educational programs and courses for people of all ages and abilities. CERES is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) for a number of Vocational Education and Training (VET) programs.

Our extensive autumn and spring workshop program cover a huge range of topics from seed saving to renewable energy at home, chook care, seasonal cooking to mosaic craft and much more. Making your own bread and cheese are two of our most popular workshops with many more to entice you into the kitchen or garden. The kids don't miss out, a jam-packed holiday workshop program runs during the April and September school holidays.
