EXCURSION PROGRAMS
CERES Environment Park offers an innovative range of educational programs for school groups of all ages, all of which are conducted in the inspiring setting of a successful and sustainable urban village. Our programs are based on the diverse displays and functional demonstrations found across the site; the Ecohouse, Energy Park (renewable energy technology), grey water systems, permaculture market gardens and cultural villages.

CERES Excursion Programs are divided into:



Programs are delivered by specialist teachers who spend the whole program time with the students. Please read the information below for booking options and prices.

2. Choose your activities
Each program has a detailed flyer that outlines what activities are available.
Download the flyers for each specific program by clicking on the links above. Each program has at least 4 activities to choose from and these flyers describe the activities in detail. One activity runs for 50-60 minutes.
You may develop your own excursion program by combining activities from two separate programs.

3. Timing and prices (excluding GST as schools are exempt)

Full-Day program
10.00 – 2.30pm
Choose FOUR activities.
This includes a 15min snack break and 30min lunch break.
$16.00 per student
(min cost per class $320)
Three Quarter Day program
10.30 – 2.00pm
Choose THREE activities.
This includes a 15min snack break and 30min lunch break.
$13.50 per student
(min cost per class $270)
Half-Day program
10.00–12.15pm or 12.30–2.45pm
Choose TWO activities.
This includes a 15min snack break.
$9.00 per student
(min cost per class $180)

* There is no charge for teachers or accompanying adults. Bring as many as you like!
* Minimum class size is 20 students, maximum 30. Only one class can participate in an activity at a time.
* Times are flexible.
* Bookings should be made 6 – 8 weeks in advance.

Waste Free Lunch
Visitors to CERES are requested to be waste-free – not bringing or creating any rubbish during their trip. Your booking confirmation letter will contain more information.

INTERNATIONAL VIRTUAL EXCHANGES

As part of our global education program (see CERES Global web page ) CERES will facilitate student exchanges between students from a minority world with those from the majority world. In order to facilitate this process we would like an indication of what schools needs are.
