The VET Training program began in 1999
with students from the Heatherwood School and has expanded to
now include 5 other Community and Specialist Schools. The program offers formal training from the Certificate II in Horticulture. Participants are exposed to practical work experience & learning outcomes that lead to a competency in a specified module. Training is experiential, providing students with an opportunity to work on ‘real’ projects. These projects have outcomes that are beneficial for themselves, CERES and the wider community. At the completion of the year students are awarded a certificate of attainment that they can take onto further studies and/or work experience. |
