CERES Organic Market - where it's OK to LOVE your fruit and veg
Every Wed & Sat 9am – 1pm

CERES Organic Market plays a vital role in the local food network. The market sells freshly harvested produce from our own market gardens and social food enterprises we support, and we share food mile info about all of our produce. Each week, in all weather, we sell the best local produce from small sustainable growers and backyard producers around Melbourne. A vibrant atmosphere with live music and craft stalls, the market is the centre of our food network.

At CERES Market and Shoppe you can also get –

  • Sensational local organic sourdough breads and pastries
  • Bulk organic and biodynamic wholefoods
  • Cleaning products for your home and body (grey water friendly)
  • Fairtrade coffees, teas and Australian chocolates
  • Biodynamic wines and Organic Spirits
  • CERES famous fresh laid eggs and more

CERES Farm is the pioneer of the Urban Orchard project where excess fruit from local backyards is traded, donated or given away at the Market each week. The project counts over 140 households as members and aims to minimise organic food waste, reduce food miles and promote locally grown backyard produce. CRAFT MARKET
line

Operating from 9am - 2pm each Wednesday and Saturday

CERES Craft Market focuses on hand-made and recycled items and offers a bounty of recycled treasures and crafty local wares from our community artists. New stallholders are always welcome to join us in the beautiful surrounds of CERES’ gardens.

CERES Craft Market supports local artisans so we don't allow mass-produced or imported items. Because of existing CERES Enterprises, stallholders cannot sell food (fresh or cooked) or any plants.

The Market is located beside the CERES Organic Food Market between the mosaic entrance and the animal stables.
Sites are strictly a maximum of 2 by 3 metres. (If you require more space two sites will need to be booked.)

The stall fee is $13.  Please give your payment on the day to the Craft Market Co-ordinator, who will be on site in the morning to assist you and to collect your contact details on the Information form below.

Stallholders will need to provide their own tables, chairs, shelter etc.

The CERES Craft Market operates on a “first in first served” basis. You can book a particular site by paying for it a week in advance, in person at the market. If you have problems finding a spot please ask the market co-ordinator who is there from 7.30am.

Please download our Stallholder Information, Regulations and Registration form for all the necessary craft stall info and registration.
