JULY

Soil food Web systems With Chris Ennis
Sunday 13th July 2008, 10am—4pm

Inspired by the work of Dr Elaine Ingham, learn about the soil food web and how to work with beneficial micro-organisms to create a healthy and productive farm or garden. This course uses the history of our local soils to help you understand the soil food web and demonstrates simple tools to create the right soil biology for the types of plants you want to grow.

Camembert Cheese
Sunday 13th July 2008, 10am – 3pm
$150/$130 CERES members/conc
Blessed are the Cheesemakers!! In this hands on workshop you will learn to make soft cheeses. You will make your own Camembert, Quarg and Mascarpone cheese. There will also be a demonstration making Ricotta cheese. Taste the yummy samples of the day’s efforts.
AUGUST

Hard Cheese

Sunday 10th August 2008, 10am – 3pm
$150/$130 CERES members/conc
The Chessemakers are still blessed!!! In this hands on workshop you will learn to make a small hard Romano style cheese and yoghurt. There will also be a demonstration making Ricotta cheese. And of course lots of taste testing!!
