Fruit Trees
Fruit bearing plants come in all shapes and sizes. From herbaceous perennials, climbers and grasses to shrubs and large trees, there is really no position or aspect in a garden that cannot be filled by a food plant. With careful planning you can be harvesting from your garden all year round. Diversity is the key.
At the nursery you will find many different citrus varieties, rare and unusual edible plants, bushfood plants including fruit and berries and a whole range of fruit trees.
During winter we stock a wide range of deciduous fruit trees. This stock is bare-rooted (grown in the field, then dug up and sold during their winter-dormant period, without pots). These trees are grafted and are two years old when they get to the nursery, giving you a head start on fruit production which usually begins when trees are about four or five years old.
