We have been offered an opportunity to establish this creative space (in the train next to the café) and cultivate support from the community, to demonstrate that the Train of heARTStudio is a quintessential asset and worthy of permanent residence. We offer a way of being with others to nourish creative expression, exploration and making meaning. We envision one way to create sustainable, flourishing communities is through the creative arts; where community connections can be formed, hopefully contributing to people's sense of well-being and belonging.

The heART Garden: Inner Earth Mother Alters

Facilitated by Melanie Gunn

Last spring and summer, a small group of women have immersed their hands, their hearts & their spirits in earth-based materials. We have created a series of sacred sculptures that embody & exude the essence of the earth and all its Art forms. These divine creations will soon be installed into the Eastern Medicinal Garden of the World Medicinal Gardens currently being established at CERES. This project is the precursor to a series of clay workshops being held in the Train of heARTS in 2012. More details soon!
