The Merri is the perfect venue for Christmas parties, birthday celebrations, weddings, staff events and social gatherings. The Merri is licensed, affordable and offers the best organic, seasonal and low-mileage produce available in Victoria in a convivial and sophisticated community space.
We have a selection of catering packages for you to choose from if you are pressed for time, or we are more than happy to chat with you to tailor the event to your specific needs.

What makes The Merri special?
Situated in the CERES Community Environment Park in Brunswick East, the Merri is an inner city venue with the ambiance of a country retreat. Like all enterprises at CERES, the Merri is committed to sustainability, community and social responsibility.
The organic food and beverages are seasonal and locally sourced.
Catering is provided under the direction of our new Chef Manager working with Seven Stars, a social enterprise providing employment opportunities to Turkish and Kurdish women from the Alevi Community.
The stunning restaurant building is a work of cutting-edge design with its sustainable materials, low energy appliances and waste minimisation.

Where is the Merri?
The Merri is one of the first buildings you see when you enter CERES Community Environment Park through the main gates on the corner of Roberts and Stewart Street in Brunswick East. There’s plenty of bike and car parking and it’s close to public transport. See the CERES website for more information.
