Number of volunteers per shift - festival day: Total Vols (14)

• Café Stalls Assistant 3.00-5.00 PM – 4 volunteers
• Café Stalls Assistant 5.00-7.00PM - 4 volunteers
• Café Stalls Assistant 7.00-9.00 PM – 4 volunteers
• Café Food Runner 6.30-8.30 PM – 2 volunteers

Objectives : Serving of food to festival patrons

Specific tasks and duties:

• Serving of food (working as a team with one or two other persons)
• Taking monies and giving change 
• Assistance with clearing of tables and running dishes to kitchen if required
• The last shift may also involve some pack down duties towards the end of the shift. (ie. packing up all items on the table, folding up and putting away table and chairs)

Training : An induction for this role will take place 15 minutes prior to the shift

Fitness level required : The role requires a moderate level of physical fitness and includes lifting. Some standing at the bar is involved.

Skills/experience:

• Customer service experience is a plus
  
• Friendly attitude, good communication skills and having the desire to interact with fellow volunteers and patrons of the event
