Learning Centre

A calm, tranquil space ideally suited to group meditations and family or community gatherings. This indoor space is home to a large open main room with a vaulted ceiling and a large bay window looking out over our meditation garden.

Capacity

Up to 60 people.

Events with over 50 people or higher support requirements are considered ‘Special Events’ which require a CERES staff member to act as a Venue Supervisor at an additional cost to the hirer.

Pricing

$400 half-day, $750 full day

Half-day sessions:
Morning session (9am – 1pm)
Afternoon session (2pm – 6pm)

Booking times are inclusive of setup and pack down.

Facilities

– Trestle tables & chairs to seat up to 60 people
– Projector & screen
– Kitchen including stove, double sink, fridge, hot water urn, plates, cups and cutlery.

Extras

– Fire pit. Only available between the months of April – November. CERES must approve any use of the fire pit before the day. BYO firewood, we heartily recommend purchasing some sustainably-sourced sugar gum from the CERES Nursery, or having some delivered by CERES Fair Food.
– Exclusive use of the meditation garden.

LOCATION

The Learning Centre is located on the southern boundary of the Brunswick East Park, close to the entrance on Lee Street. There is no car access within CERES, so all supplies need to be brought in on foot, there is parking on Lee street which is the best place to unload. Special Events with a CERES Venue Supervisor have the added benefit of vehicle access to the venue.
